Folders built for family life
Every folder you create starts private. You decide when to share it, and with whom. Folders can hold any file type — PDFs, photos, scans — and you can structure them however makes sense for your family: by person, by topic, or by life area. Typical families use folders for passports and IDs, home documents, kids’ school records, health and medical files, insurance and finances, wills and legal paperwork, and pet records.Family-only sharing
There are no public links in Family Folder. Shared folders are visible only to members of your family group. When you share a folder, you assign each person a role — Owner, Contributor, or Viewer — so everyone gets exactly the access they need.Smart search
Start typing in the search bar and matching files and folders appear immediately. You can narrow results by file type, family member, or date. Search only ever shows files you own or that have been shared with you — nothing from other families.Ask AI
Open any file and select Ask AI to get a plain-English summary, a list of key dates, and a set of action items — all pulled directly from the document. You review everything before anything is saved. AI never runs automatically, and your files are never used to train any model.Pricing

The Free plan requires no credit card. You can upgrade to Family or Family Forever at any time from Family settings → Plan.
Privacy and security
Family Folder is built privacy-first:- Every folder starts private — sharing is always a deliberate choice, never a default.
- No external sharing — only members of your family group can be added to a shared folder.
- Automatic sign-out — after 30 minutes of inactivity you are signed out automatically, keeping your documents safe on shared devices.
- Your files are yours — Family Folder will never train AI on your documents or sell your data.
